Reminder: There will be no Beginner’s Bellydance or Repertoire class with Lori on Sunday, May 20. A class will be added at the end to make up for the change. Have a great May 2-4!

Welcome! Located at 156 Duckworth Street, St. John’s Newfoundland, Wild Lily is the home for cultural and rich dances that you won’t find many other places on the island.
Our instructors are highly trained by the leaders in their fields. You will learn the best and safest techniques for each dance form in a caring and supportive environment with class sizes designed to give individual attention to our students. We also take you beyond the movement: we teach you history, theory, and creativity, to make the most of your dance. Most of all, our instructors make learning a fun and healthy experience in a welcoming atmosphere.
We are into another great semester at Wild Lily. Just a friendly reminder that if you haven’t paid your registration fees, please do so before your next class. We take Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Pay Pal, e-transfers and good old fashioned cash!
The Neighbourhood Strays are continuing the celebration of Bellydance in Newfoundland and Labrador. Dance on the Edge 4 will take place on May 19, at the LSPU Hall, 3 Victoria Street. Proceeds are in aid of Marguerite’s Place (for more information about Marguerite’s Place please visit their website at www.margueritesplace.ca)
This show is shaping up to be an amazing night of dance with performers from eastern, central and western Newfoundland. Special guests Elysium Tribal from Oakville Ontario, and the Spanish rhythms of Isla Flamenca from St. John’s will make this an event you will not want to miss! (Of course how could we not mention that our very own Wild Lily Performance Group will also be on stage!)
Tickets are $25, and can be purchased online by contacting the Resource Centre for the Arts (www.rca.nf.ca). Doors open at 7, showtime is 7:30. See you there!
